MrBeast Island Escape Glossary

Game-specific terms stay in English as players see them in ATYS 1’s Roblox experience. Use this glossary when a guide mentions Raft, Sail, Escape Token, or other island vocabulary you do not recognize yet.

MrBeast Island Escape

The Roblox survival game by ATYS 1 (Place ID 108645230905176) where players crash on an island, gather resources, trade with MrBeast, survive nights, and build a Raft to escape. Not the same as Build An Island or Beast Games Inc titles.

ATYS 1

The Roblox developer group that created and maintains MrBeast Island Escape. Balance changes ship through Roblox platform updates tied to this creator profile.

MrBeast

In-game NPC who accepts gathered items in exchange for rewards—often Weapons, upgraded Tools, or progression items. Trading with MrBeast is a core progression path, not optional side content.

Raft

Player-built boat constructed at shoreline build stations. Escaping the island on a functional Raft is the primary win condition. Usually upgraded with a Sail for ocean speed.

Sail

Raft attachment crafted from Cloth and planks. Dramatically increases travel speed over paddling a bare Raft—critical for timely escape before nights overwhelm the squad.

Wood

Base resource from trees, gathered with an Axe. Used for planks, Campfire fuel, basic Tools, and early Raft frames. The most common material on the starting beach.

Stone

Resource mined from rock nodes with a Pickaxe. Required for tool upgrades, reinforced Raft parts, and many mid-game crafts. Often denser inland than on open beach.

Cloth

Resource used heavily in Sail crafts and some gear. Obtained from chests, enemy drops, MrBeast trades, or inland routes depending on patch. Reserve for Sail before cosmetic crafts.

Planks

Processed wood from logs at crafting stations. Core input for Raft frames, Shelter walls, and many upgrade recipes. Staging planks near water saves escape time.

Torch

Handheld light source essential for night survival. Weak combat stats but high value for deterring or managing certain night monsters near your camp.

Lantern

Upgraded light source with broader radius and better combat utility than a Torch. Recommended for mid-game camps and ocean segments during escape attempts.

Campfire

Placeable structure providing light, cooking, and early-night safety near spawn or forward bases. Fuel with Wood and higher-tier fuels when unlocked.

Shelter

Walls or roof structures complementing the Campfire. Organizes crafting stations and gives cover; does not alone prevent all monster damage without light and weapons.

Escape Token

Progression marker or quest item tied to leaving the island—sometimes awarded by NPCs or MrBeast trades. Confirm current requirements in-game; wiki notes may lag patches.

Weapon XP

Combat progression tied to using Weapons against island threats. May unlock upgrades or trade eligibility depending on ATYS 1 balance. Not the same as Roblox account level.

Night Cycle

Recurring in-game period when stronger monsters pressure players. Light from Campfire, Torch, or Lantern plus Weapons defines survival strategy after sunset.

Build Station

Interactive shoreline site where Raft tiles and attachments are placed. Distinct from handheld crafting menus used for Tools and Weapons.

Spear

Common melee Weapon with reach against boars and jungle threats. Often the first dedicated combat craft after basic gathering Tools.
